My mistake, I got bad info, that only applies to the default on the base model. Turns out you don’t need that though as it can fast charge on the old USB-C adapter that sold with the larger MacBook...

Not true, the MacBook Pro M1 is still very capable and it is still the battery king. If people don’t need the extra power, then this is a great laptop and it’s not going to cease to get the job done...

Uh no, the fast charging adapter is 140 watt and not available with the 14”. However, the 16” can’t charge via thunderbolt port, so it’s a trade off either way.

That’s not true, the bigger the job the bigger the performance gap. As people edited longer and longer videos, the difference was actually fairly substantial.

I think at this point in time, anyone considering a MacBook Pro should stick to a good deal for a low end model at under 1k or less. This is almost new 2021 Macbook Pro 14 territory price.

Not sure about the M1 Airs, but the Intel ones are garbage, even with i7 intel chips. MBPro is the way to go.
