I could be wrong but I think if they don’t compress it’s the same other than maybe losing Dolby vision and it playing in hdr10 which is a minor loss in dynamic range.

Don’t you lose Dolby vision doing this? Aren’t those formats mostly hdr10? Not that it makes that much of a difference but dv is slightly better.
