I'm in the market for a total solution, outdoor cameras and spotlights, indoor cameras, etc. Can anyone recommend a system to get started in? I've heard Ring is overpriced.

nope also really not sure what everyone's gripe is. Some higher end cameras can provide features like 4k and person detection, but they are at least twice the price.

Why do you need a subscription? This comes with the Sync Module 2 which stores everything locally. Is there something I'm missing like other functions that require subscriptions?
