Yes, definitely try the aeropress ! I also occasionally use a moka pot, but have to constantly adjust grind size to get a happy medium.

Yes oddly enough I literally only used it with chicory coffee and condensed milk, but maybe I'll try using regular coffee. I'm trying to copy the shakes iced espresso drink at Starbucks right now. ...

DeLonghi Stilosa - $87 There isn't any functionally superior machine under $300 new. All of the cheap Delonghi machines have a steel boiler & an ULKA pump inside. They can make "real" espresso. ...

Does anybody know a good cheap (under $200) espresso machine? Maybe a sub $100 grinder as well? I would love an espresso machine but minus the cups thing

I find making a phin cup is a much stronger flavor and caffeine than other methods. Typically brew using a Italian moka pot on stove, which is strong, but pour-over phin blows it away.

Generally, decent coffee depends on the type and consistency of the grind, and freshness of the bean. K-cups don’t do very well in either of those. Pressure or not is just extraction method. You can...

I purchased one a while back. The coffee is better than Nespresso, but the pods can be hard to find and expensive at certain times. It is a lot quieter than my Nespresso.

I used to use a Breville Espresso machine and switched to a Keurig. It may not be the best, but you can’t beat the convenience. I’ll take the Keurig any day.
