I love Makita stuff but would not buy this, lots of better kits on sale this month from Milwaukee and Makita. Ones with longer bits, socket adapters, higher strength etc.

Ryobi kit has a better selection if you don't have anything. If you're just looking for impact rated bits, I'd go with the Makita since it has more.

I've had this set for a few years. Haven't found myself using the small bits with the adapter, but it's nice to have them just in case. I use the longer bits all the time though.

Makita is generally good but i think this is their lower tier set if that doesn't bother you. IIRC their higher to lower tier sets are XPS>Gold>ImpactX Someone feel free to correct me.
