That's ridiculous. Battery powered stuff for your home is one thing but there's no way you run a business with it. It's not possible

Los Angeles is going after the mow and blow guys now to end gas powered equipment. This battery stuff simply won't cut it. The manual push mowers won't cut it either except by individual homeowners.

Really? You stated you refill your gas can once or twice a season so that would mean that you used what's in your mower plus one or two times you have had to go get more gas. So either you are lying...

A probable majority of gas mower owners do not do yearly maintenance, and they still last a long time. I mentioned above the spark plug and oil maintenance I did on my last mower, and I either never...

My last mower lasted 15 years. I changed the oil twice and the spark plug once. I refill the gas can once or twice a year. If you got 8 years out of a lithium battery, you got really lucky.

If a walk behind mower can burn through a gallon of gas in two weeks, it's being used to mow the golf course. A gallon of gas lasts nearly a whole season for me.

If a manual rotary push mower was so effective why haven't anyone seen a mow and blow service using them? There are some absolute stupid comparisons in this comment thread but this takes the cake....

that's the point, OEM battery is deliberately not standardized and are a fraction of the OE capacity, on top of that OEM voids the warranty too. on the gas side, oil and gas is standardize.

Yep. I couldn't get the head that came on it to bump-feed reliably without beating it up, and the in-feed process with the twisting was a chore to do 3" per twist for 20+ feet. I figured bashing it...

A Styrofoam cooler keeps the batteries not too cold in the winter and not too hot in the summer?

That's a pretty good safety feature - I wasn't aware that Kobalt had included this functionality. I learn something new today! Thanks! As you mentioned, its seems that the temperature threshold...

All four of the Kobalt 40v chargers I have include a built-in deal where they will delay charging automatically until the battery has cooled. I’m not sure what their threshold is or how effective it...

One can just as easily argue for 3rd party batteries, even replacing cells oneself to save costs on the battery side, too. I'm using oem parts and brand-name oil as the price basis. Naturally,...
