A lot of the cast irons are. Bummed I missed the french 4 qt. $119 is the best deal I've seen in 7 yrs. I bought one and gifted one years ago. Would like another to gift.

I would think not. The cast-iron traps heat better than glass. I have so many pieces of Staub and use them a lot for bread baking and braising. I like them so much better than Le Creuset.
