That would be great to see. The battery issue is boffins me back from buying here, but seeing a way to splice in a third party battery may make this a true slickdeal

I used the coaxial jack from Thinkpad, parts I had already had and fit the gotrax charger. So I just soldered one on the battery and one on the scooter. The $38 hover pack is also a 20 cell (10S2P)...

got this GXL V2 for free after they sent one with a dead battery and gotrax CS was rude so we filed a chargeback, So I clipped the internal battery and soldered on a coaxial jack to connect...

It's also just 10 minutes to walk. The scooter would save... 5 minutes and about 1/5 of the amount walking you should do every day anyway.

If you need a scooter for .6 miles.. it's probably not worth the weight you have to carry on the train. Just get a skateboard. :)
