I compared this monitor with LG GP850. 21DGF has a better build and ergonomics, and the light bleed control is far better than GP850 (YMMV). The installation process is a breeze for 21DGF. However...

4K res at high fps requires a very beefy gpu, which is not accessible by most due to supply AND price. 1440p with high refresh is the best balance of quality/performance/price.

They still tend to be pricey. For myself as a casual gamer, don't think I could tell a difference between 4k and FHD at 24 inches. I am okay to spring as I did a little more for QHD on a decent QHD...
