If anyone doesn’t want to yours anymore, please DM me. Trying to get a pair for my kid, but all the used ones plus shipping that I could find is even more than a new pair. Crazy!

Received the $88 CAP set from Walmart today. One hand doesn't pick up the last plate to go to 15 lb but does 10 lb or 20 lb fine. It'll be returned.

I have the expandable powerblock set that goes up to 85 or whatever and it works pretty well but I agree with what everyone said here. The powerblock feels weird on certain workouts, like if you...

Don't get the $88 from Walmart. The metal plate can drop and it dropped on my foot.

I've had the issue on hard surfaces as well. A couple times they would either get jammed or even fall out which is scary

Imagine lifting these up and suddenly needing to drop them or having them slip out of your grip. With this design your wrist would probably snap in half.

Slow reps work as well as heavier weights for almost all exercises. Also, I don't regret having two sets of Powerblocks one bit, although I may eventually sell the larger set and pick up some...

The 50lb weights are an ok deal unless you want to wait until after the pandemic when public gym use returns to normal. Then you may find these for less. I bought the 90lb weights on Craigslist in...

Yes, anecdotal, but I have been buying, selling, refurbishing and selling gym equipment for years, so my experience isn't limited to 1 or 2 pairs. I am still happy to sell a pair to anyone that...

Unless they have recently changed something Powerblocks are super awkward to hold. I've had them about 8 years now and because of the huge square weights it just feels weird doing normal lifts with...

Anecdotal, but I haven’t had a durability problem with my Bowflex. Bought a pair of 1090’s about ~12 years ago that are still going strong. I probably average 4-5 home workouts a week with them. I...

They're a little rattle-y with the 24lb (and basically all Powerblocks) . If you plan to do some kind of explosive movements with your exercises, I'd stick with the neoprene dumbbells that are about

I’m a woman, have had this set for 7 years, and still use them a few times a week. They are great for me. The 3 lb increment isn’t an issue at all. For really light weight exercises like arm circles,...
