I use the Clorox bleach tablets in one of our toilets and it hasn’t caused any problems. I installed it about 16 years ago and it still has the same flapper. Not sure why but there it is.

They eat away all the rubber parts. I got tired of getting replacement flappers every year to 18 months and just use disposable toilet brush heads instead. If you live in an apartment, go to town.

Stay away from all of these in tank cleaners unless you want to be replacing your tank parts every 2-3 years. They ruin the flappers so they quit sealing and other plastic/rubber parts
