I honestly just throw down the seed when there’s a week of constant rain, I always get lush thick grass in the end. If it dries up I will hose, but spring or fall nature seems to water enough

Plain perennial ryegrass has come up in 4-5 days….most fescues take 10+ days to germinate. I’ve tried their dense shade mix in NEPA and it is nice grass and great growing.

Bermuda isn't actually a true grass, but a grassy weed. I hate Bermuda. Trying to get my Zoysia to choke it out, but it's taking some time.
