What to look for, if I need down to 7ft-lbs, and 12ft-lbs... something even smaller than 1/4" drive?

All mine 'generic cheapo' ($10 each) HF torque wrenches are all metal with plastic cases only. The longer the handle = the higher the torque (5th grade math).

Some of the comments make good points here. My 3/8" Craftsman (pre-SBD) has a plastic locking collar and I don't like that I have to treat it as if it's fragile. I bought a Kobalt 1/2" when I...

Craftsman is changing a lot of tool designs, discontinuing nice tools they've made for 50 years in favor of smaller, shorter, cheaper tools. I have a few wrenches (some ratcheting) that are broke...

The Pittsburgh wrenches are nothing like the Craftsman. They've got then tightening/locking mechanism at the end of the wrench, like any other cheap wrench on ebay or Amazon. It's more likely the...

For those trashing the harbor freight torque wrench, the wrenches look like they came from the same manufacturer. The fonts on the wrench are the same.
