These are actually quite good for use as tree savers for winching. They are also quite good for anchoring one vehicle to another for winch pulls on slippery surfaces.
Their fine for mild stucks...

Use a rope intended for pulling a tuber instead. These are only 20ft, and you'll want more room than that between the boat doing the towing and the one being towed. No brakes on the water.

Weakest link strap or adding cheap hook. I use them to trap my boat down but wouldn't trust it halling a car out of a hole. YouTube it if you do some of those are wow I didn't realize a neon wouldn't...

Interesting/conservative take on it, thanks. Do you have one you recommend / has not snapped on you? I imagine even ones with 20 or 30k, could just be completely embellished depending on the...

I would not use a strap under 20k #. And even 20k # I’ve broken several times. I look for 30k # plus.
Put a heavy blanket or towel over these to help dampen them if it does break
7k pounds is...

I would say it depends. If your vehicle has one of those removable, screw in tow hooks - I don't think you should put any lateral forces on the hook, for fear of snapping it. Those hooks are designed...

I'm looking at putting one of these on the boat in case I need a tow back to the dock. Never plan on using it (I hope).

Is it safe to use these from one vehicle's tow hook to the other? Like if the towing vehicle has a tow hook can that be used to tow the disabled vehicle out of a ditch or wherever?

Snatch Strap (has stretch...
