Yes. Your HP has 1 m.2 slot for SSDs. It's x2 lanes so this is a bit of a waste. I'm not sure if it's PCIe 4 or not; that might be dependent on your CPU. Go find yourself a cheap DRAM-less drive;...

Go ask 100 random people what the Poincare Conjecture is maybe 1 will know about, but that doesn't change the fact that it's been proven.

What a stupid logic. You know what? 9 of 10 don't know what is NVME. 9 of 10 don't know what is Gen3, Gen4. SK Hynix Amazon rating. P31. Ratings: 5547 Stars: 4.8 out of 5 S31. Ratings: 13423....

Not sure why this is worth arguing about or exactly what point you're trying to make, but if I asked 10 random people "what NVMe manufacturer do you prefer?" All 10 would probably say "huh?" You...

There is a difference little bit. NVME is 1 to 2 sec faster than a normal SSD for loading games, sometimes more. Think about why. There are a lot of test results.

I was talking about storing games externally for XBox or PS5, an NVME wouldn’t be any faster for that.

No. You don't know DELL G5 don't you? Go and find what it has. NVME is the best option for him.

Uh, clearly they don't have any trouble selling at a premium, which is why this is more expensive than WD. Western Digital doesn't make their own flash, they buy it from Toshiba, they're only...

Maybe yes but that'd be a waste, a cheap SSD would be just as fast and enclosures are cheaper.

Yes. You need a USB enclosure for it. For P5: you need an NVME Gen4 SSD for an expansion M.2 slot. P31 is Gen3. P5 expansion M.2 doesn't support NVME Gen3. For XBOX: you need a USB 3.0(3.1) NVME...

For such an unproven brand...you gotta be no more than $180 for 2TB...otherwise, I rather but a WD Black or Firecooter or Sammy (⋋‿⋌)
