Right? Warranties should replace failed drives, that's what they're for. SSDs are fragile, and not designed for permanent storage. A 3-5 year warranty is a much better option than a 30 or 90 day...

The only number that matters is the total host writes which is 2 gigabytes written, the drive is rated for a total of 2,400 terabytes written. So you basically scored a brand new drive.

I’d save the money and use the SSD as storage. They run cooler too. Personal preference though.
