Walmart packaging on both of mine was poor - with disc version you could see the product through the packaging. Both the Disc and Digital versions were fine with no issues.

Received the disc version today. FedEx dropped it off & didn’t even ring the doorbell. The Walmart box seemed damaged and retaped with clear tape. The PS5 box seems okay. Son’s birthday is coming up...

Delivered finally! For anyone still waiting on theirs, FedEx made me sign for it. They wouldn’t just leave it on the doorstep. Luckily they came early for once and I was home to sign.

AFAIK, that's correct. Some features won't be available on your PS5 tho. You'll have to do a little more research to figure out if it's worth getting the new version.
