1.5kw per hour, lets say you are paying 11 cents per kw, so running it for one hour would cost you 17 cents, 24 hours would be about $4, now tell me I am a math genius.

I got this one late last year. The heating element went out in less than 2 months. I have returned it and purchased a different one, but if the new one doesn't work well, I'll try the one in the OP.

Awesome thanks. I bought one similar on amazon which I love, a radiant heater. But I was proud to find one for 89 bucks, you crushed that with this under 50 one. Great find, thanks for sharing.

Does anyone know if these units have a clear plastic film over the buttons? Classic problem: I started trying to remove it and started to doubt it was there.

We own both of these (one upstairs, one downstairs). Everyone prefers the wooden one over the $49 one. Primary reasons: 1) the $49 one looks much cheaper in person. 2) the $79 model has a remote...

I bought 5 different 1500 watt infrared heaters this month from homedepot to test and the dr infrared heater was BY FAR superior so with this price it might be one of those inferior 1500 watt heaters
