I would assume most tools are cordless, unless they're using something power hungry like a table saw or a miter saw. In those scenarios, I'd be more worried about chopping a limb off if using both...

#14 is fine for running things like Christmas lights and decorations or low voltage lighting. Mitre cut saw our large tools probably not but 15amp up to even a 50' cord on 14 gauge is fine for most...
