I'd have to disagree. I have a 1-3/4" SDS Max rotary hammer, I'm in the middle of building a house on bedrock. I use the SDS max hammer for drilling 1-1/2" holes in granite for chemical blasting....

also have this. Got it with 2 x5ah for $200 last year. Used it anchoring playground and other stuff around backyard. Drilling concrete with this too simple even if you have never done it before ....
