I noticed that customer satisfaction is higher (4.8 vs 4.2) for the LG on NewEgg and Amazon. NewEgg is selling refurb M27q for $270 today.

I have both and tbh the only difference I have actually noticed so far is the extra 4 USB on the dell. if you plug headphones or a controller into a monitor that is really it imo. they both look great

Well, it more than not good . . . it's unusable. I can't even make it through the PS4 HDR calibration test. Poor quality HDR is one thing . . . unusable HDR is borderline deception.

If you want to use this other than gaming, I'd look into the BGR subpixel layout the Gigabyte has and if that will be a dealbreaker for you. We decreased the text clarity score from 7.5 to 7.0....

In this price range don't expect a good HDR experience. You need decent brightness (600+ nits) and FALD or OLED to provide gorgeous contrast.
