It's arriving today. Some say it comes unlocked. Even if it doesn't it will be unlocked after 3rd service payment. Have to keep it till then anyway to get the $200 gc

GV is not eligible for the rebate.
Stick with Ting $1 activation.
Also, it seems(?) the deal is dead.
You still can get $200 for the port in and buy a new phone, but it has to be a high end...

This is not BYOP, you need to buy a new phone for the $200 card. After getting the sim, you can put in any phone. If you are not into the $600-$1k flag ship phone, moto g power would be a good option.
