Wouldn't it be Great if SDers made a statement by boycotting ALL companies like Bosch (one that admittedly makes excellent tools) and even SlickDeals barring Any Posts for their products (yeah, I...

Thanks OP been waiting for this, rear clearance is big draw. 10” better than 12” for me, same as table saw and cheaper blades

I’m slowly coming to the conclusion too that *IF* I buy a miter saw, 10 inch is sufficient for me. Any miter cut (or compound miter cut - though I can’t think of a place I would do that… my home is...

As others have mentioned, when cutting flooring save your lungs from the nasty, toxic materials and buy or rent an anvil/guillotine style cutter. They are quite affordable and will prevent...

For the LVP a razor will handle 90% of your cuts. I used a miter for the first 1000sqft of a home reno before realizng that the score/break still works on thick, rigid core LVP. Traumatizing to...

Unless you are a framer and cutting 14 inch joists all day every day, you want a 10in. The 10 in can cut 4x4 with one chop but not a 6x6. That said, the 12in blade can’t cut a 6x6 with one chop,...

399 will get you a ridgid sliding dual bevel 10", the big draw to this unit is the limited rear clearance.

I would check out harbor freight's saw. At $379 it's cheaper and my friend did a lot of research comparing it with other brands before he purchased it. He is very happy with it. If you are not in a...

Unless it doesn't have the cut capacity for what it is that you need to miter, go with smaller. Smaller saws are typically going to be cheaper, smaller footprint, lighter, and more accurate.

This is overkill for most DIY. I redid all the trim and crown in my house and built and sided a new garage with a 10" sliding Ryobi. If I knew I was going to redo the trim I would have got a non...

Personally, I have the 10" delta Cruzer and I had the 12" Bosch. My only regret was not buying the 12". The Delta has been great and I'll assume the Ridgid is no different (being a clone), so I'd be...

Good call ... the DWS780 has been in need of a redesign for years now. I prefer the Bosch (now that the dust collection is a bit better).
