Yep, the particle board is trash. I replaced mine with OSB, but is was several years ago and OSB was dirt cheap. The price of OSB and plywood is insane now.

I'd go cheaper and just find scrap wood cut to size and put 3-4 pieces across. That much plywood seems expensive.

I’d avoid these. I just bought a home that had 7 of these shelves in a climate controlled area for storing fabrics and they all have about 2-3 inches of sag in them.
