The shafts are made in Japan. The actual heads I would guess are forged in China since they don't say Japan anywhere on them. I know honma moved some of their club operations into China a few years...

Negative. Actually closer to the opposite. Some electronics (TV , computer, Laptop, ECT) do not have Costco lifetime.

Buy used ( inspect face for wear) and save 50%. Especially cast irons (as opposedd to Forge) where the face/grooves never wear out.
