That little oscillating tool did better than all the 18v/20v ones in a comparison on the ProTool Review website.

I remember back in the 90's moving from Black and Decker cordless screwdrivers, which never lasted long, to Skil, which had a much better design, and lasted much longer. :D

I know it does. Be great to hear if that’s all it was to fix the problem

So loosen it a bit after fully tightening it? Seems counterintuitive but I'll try

The 6 tool kit probably went out of stock. I don't know whats up with the links though. Maybe a little switcheroo by the mods, hoping no would notice and still place an order?

Make sure you hand tighten and then turn back 1 click. That could solve your issue

Link now takes to a page that has a different Skil 20V combo - with Drill, Circular saw etc. and not the one listed in OP. About two hours back when I first clicked through the link, it showed the...

Good deal but this a not a $450 set. Skil is a step up from B&D and Hart. Lies between those then Kobalt above it. Chervon is the parent company and they own EGO and make the Kobalt 24V lineup for...

skil had a rep for cheap tools for a long time. but the newest pwrcore series seems great. ive heard nothing but good about it. imo, their rep from before still haunts them

I bought the 5 tool 12v package a few months ago with the impact, drill, oscillating tool, Bluetooth speaker, and flashlight. I gotta say, for $99 they are some pretty nice tools. I actually prefer...

Skil’s parent company is Chervon, which owns Ego and Flex, so I don’t believe there’s compatibility with any of the brands you mentioned.

Since it's marketed as 20 volt instead of 18 volt, I assume skill must be made by Stanley Black & Decker. Does anyone know if these batteries are compatible with the interoperable Porter-Cable /...

The reason some folks look down on Skil is quality. 25 years ago when I was just starting out as a poor homeowner I bought a Skil drill/driver from Walmart. It didn't last too long. Maybe they've...

If this had the impact driver instead of either the saw or oscillator, it would be totally worth it for me. Previously grabbed the 12v combo, which itself was great (solid build quality and the...

I have a couple of those tools, but even those considered, this seems like a great deal? Am I missing anything?

I was drilling out a stuck set screw and it started to make clicking noise. I took apart the broken drill after the new one arrived. Something came loose between the motor and the latch that changes...

Some folks look down on Skil for some reason. I picked up the drill with batt & charger for around $40 and the build seems comparable to dewalt. Would it last as long being used daily? IDK or care...

Is this deal worth it without the bt speaker? I have zero need for the speaker personally.
