That isnt true, ships and sold by Amazon means Amazon's sourcing it from first-party, i.e. the manufacturer which is Apple in this case. I know it because I work at Amazon.

You can edit the tip too by the way, it doesn’t have to be $8, it suggests a certain % by default, you can adjust it higher or lower.
