Short-dated as in nearing its expiration - and yeah the longer the shelf-life the more weary I am about short-dated products. I'm not buying any Mountain House Beef Stroganoff that expires in July...

Worse than short-dated. Canned tuna has an expiration date about 2-3 years out. This has been sitting in the warehouse for two years!

The tstat at Amazon FCs is set to 78F and it gets considerably hotter than that within the mods. Couple that with the fact that these are short-dated to begin with and I would be really weary about...

Not sure what others are paying, but our supermarket in NJ regularly has (must buy) 5 cans of this for anywhere from $4 to $6. This week is $5.
