Agreed. The only time I have any propane smell at all is when it shuts off, just for a moment.

You might have a leak. I've used two different buddy heaters in enclosed spaces for the last 6 years. Only time i smell propane is if i have changed the propane canister or disconnected the hose.

These are great, Oxygen sensor + Alarm feels very safe for indoor use. I use either a grill tank or if tailgating etc just refill the smaller tanks

Or California, which is where I bought mine to use. We lose power for several days 2-3 times a year because of snow and have to rely on wood or propane to keep from freezing.

Sure, but this is different than most propane heaters that have to be used outdoors. This model has a low oxygen sensor built into it that shuts it off automatically if the O2 levels get too low....
