I don't think ANY usb flash sticks do wear leveling. I would love to be proven wrong though.

That's BS. Wear leveling are introduced as soon as flash memory supports random write (as oppose to linear write). Some wear leveling maybe better than the others but they all work. Even compact...

Exactly my experience with this drive. The burst speed is good for a couple of seconds, then it's back down to 0MB/s for much longer than the burst speed. In all, the average speed is slow.
