I have some special long nose pliers already. But for a hobby mechanic buying all shapes as Knipex pliers would be kind of pricey. I have good quality standard pliers and cheap special pliers. IMO...

Yes, this is special tool. You only need it in some special cases where you could not use straight one.

Thanks. I ordered… rather have these on hand and be able to finish a project vs stopping and waiting to come in. According to ccc, this is within $1.60 of the lowest it has ever been.

This is (almost) an all-time low, according to CCC. Normally these sell well over $40. Also, you can't even get a bargain on these from Amazon.de in Germany... and that's before the $15 + Amazon...
