FYI for all, unless you are running SAS3 drives, the protocol falls back to SAS2. So if you are planning to attach any SATA drive or SSD, you will only get 6gbps. You need SAS drive for 12gbps....

LSI 9207-8i is SAS2. LSI 9300-8i (this one) is SAS3. But yeah, unless you are running this with enterprise SAS3 SSD's, you'll see 0% difference in performance over a quality 9207-8i card running...
