Yes the type C Port supports displayport (that was painful to type out) but not power delivery.

Any confirmation that the amex credit actually works for this? Fine print states purchase must be made at dell.com/amex, this laptop is not available there.

It's actually pretty rare. Many laptop manufacturers (and in turn, lcd manufacturers) are deviating from PWM. If you find a PWM screen, it's most likely at 1000hz+ which shouldn't affect most people....
