Friend and I did a few less than scientific tests that showed using the Jetboil fuel made the other stoves behave the same, and vice versa.
Seems like if there's some magic in the setup it's in...

I have one of these and so does a friend of mine. For the price you can't beat it, and in my experience it was great as a trial before deciding if I wanted a jetboil. If you know you already want...

I've had this for a few years and feel the quality and performance is 90% as good as a comparative Jetboil but at a fraction of the price. My only complaint is not having the pot adapter.

Anyone know if the burner assembly is compatible with the jetboil? I bought a returned MiniMo from REI but it’s missing the burner assembly.

Be...

Yeah, white gas fuel stoves are better for emergency use as you can refill the tank and run them on a multitude of fuels.
Unlike the canisters which are not refillable.

I make it regularly, much to my wife's dismay.

I have used this several times the past two weeks. Takes between 7 to 10 minutes to boil when full (depending on the altitude I've use it at). I beleive Jetboil is less than two minutes.
I don't...

You just need to make sure the point is far enough away, and not too far. You want one big arc coming off the very end of the prong.
