You're not wrong, and this is the only caveat to OLED TVs, and should be mentioned. The issue is, people blow this issue out of proportion to imply that *any* usage will lead to visible burn-in, and...

This is actually way more common than you think. Many people extensively watch CNBC, CNN, etc as a constant background to their daily activities which will definitely lead to a burn in problem with...

I guess if you cant stop yourself from leaving a newsticker on for 12 hours straight everyday for 3 weeks than yeah, maybe OLED isn't for you. Sound logic.

Cool...so you have rooms in your house that are brighter than the Costco showroom in the daylight that's by the door ? Because in THOSE conditions, the OLED blows all of the LED's out of the water....

I can tell you why I chose one: burn-in. I know it's rare and I may never experience it, but I never want to even worry about the possibility of it. Unfortunately the possibility of burn-in is built...

People don't get Oled because of burn-in, image retention, and brightness issues. All very good reasons. I always fall asleep with my tv on by mistake and I don't have to worry about none of that...
