If when you try to turn the tv on, the screen cuts on for a split second then goes blank it means the LEDs need to be replaced. About $60 and an hour maybe hour and a half to fix on your own.

I bought 2x LGs in 2014 and another in 2015. All still perfect. In 2014, paid $500 for the 55” w/ 1080p and 60hz and it was a steal. $300 for a 4K and Smart TV capabilities is outrageous.
