Do not use the promo code received after registration. I tried and did not work. But I kept 8tb red plus hdd in the cart yesterday and today received email with another 10% off code in email....

I would stick with the red pro drives if your using it on a NAS. 5 year warranty gives you peace of mind.

No. The redplus is a better drive. No shucking, full warranty. Easystor if you want an external. Get one from B&H.
