It says IPS panel on the specs. This is the same exact machine in the 15.6" version that Costco had on sale for $350 in the 14" version (no numeric keypad).

I have the 14" version of this. The screen is just fine. It is plenty fast. I see little need for a more powerful CPU. I guess Windows update would be a bit faster but that is rare to need to do....

But the 1125G4 has solid specs, equal scores to the corresponding I5 with slightly less graphics capability.

Usually a bunch of reasons:
It’s only an i3
Screen likely crap quality (not IPS, low nits and colors, etc)
No USB-C charging

I paid $300 for a Dell 4 months ago that went FP. Same CPU, but only 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. No backlit keyboard, no USB-C.
For the extra 50 bucks, you get a lot here. Not sure who downvoted...
