Although oats are naturally gluten-free, they may have been contaminated at the manufacturing facility. So maybe that's what they're talking about: free of gluten contamination.

Oats are not soy beans or field corn...both of which are GMO "Round-Up" ready. Oats have not (yet) been made "Round-Up" ready.
