No, because the legs aren't straight. For this 10x10 calculation they use the area from the tip of the bottom of the legs. The covered section is only 8x8.

The Costco says it weighs 32-35 lbs. Walmart 26 lbs. If thats true, Id go for the Costco for $99. Costco reviews are much better also. Not a Costco member otherwise Id try it.

There's a pretty big difference between 64 square feet of coverage and 100. Maybe you prefer something smaller, but it's definitely two different products.

also of note, with the angled legs, most have a footprint of the stated 10x10 is for the legs with the actual canopy being smaller, closer to 8x8. hope this helps.

Really challenging. I am a single woman, 5’6”, couldn’t get it up on my own. Then it rained and a bowl of water formed in the canopy and broke several of the supports. I’m returning it.
