I had one stop displaying very soon after rh warranty expired. On another LG product, I got *endless* runaround trying to get warranty help, ultimately giving up. Never, ever, ever again.

Nice monitor for office work but 21 pounds is more than my monitor arm can handle. Otherwise really tempting. Edit: scratch that, LG site lists weight without stand as 14 pounds....

More Hz = smoother framerate less screen tearing, and a better overall experience. 75-100Hz fine for desktop/youtube but for games and other fast moving stuff you want more.

Go for the CostCo carried LG that has 165Hz and HDR10. I've got 2 and they're great for gaming as a base model. Not IPS though.

Refresh rates and response times are not static, some monitors handle slower refresh rates at faster response times better than a high refresh rate monitor that might have alot slower average refresh...

Depends on your budget. For FPS shooters id be looking for good response time and 100hz refresh rate. But your looking at spending probably about 100 more for one. See...
