Yes, definitely is hard. Fortunately, you can have a team of up to 3 to complete the stages.

Nioh is a great game, if you haven't played it and you like souls-likes jump on it. It's probably the only souls-like on par with the stuff FromSoftware puts out.

I downloaded the first one since I guess it was included with ps plus and I played about 3 minutes. once I died and had to restart again, I turned it off.

I loved it. While it falls into the soulsborne description, it is a successor to Ninja Gaiden. There a few different mechanics to work with, and a lot of loot and style customization.

I found the game a bit unbalanced as the first boss in Nioh 2 is likely too difficult to most newbies (me included) The second boss is even worse. But ironically some later bosses are easier.
