How do you mount these over the siding and make sure you don't poke hole in a pipe or something. Is all siding backed by wood to carry reels and hose full of water?

I would suggest buying an air hose reel dedicated for that purpose. I’m sure you could make it work but the default connections help with the application (air vs. water)

Damn, I paid more than this JUST for the reel at Home Depot. I think it was $25, and didn't come with a hose. So this is a good deal. Now, the comments on plastic and breaking... yeah they don't...

this is not built to last...gets weak and flimsy fast...i had a similar product from the same material...i do not recommend it at all...you are just gonna have more holes on your brick
