I tell the cashier at the counter I have 2 orders, I do them back to back and also use separate credit cards just to be in the clear.

Double cheeseburger is pretty good and a good value, especially today. Soft drinks and fries not so much. I'd buy a second cheeseburger to make up for the $1.

Correct. Not worth the hassle for $1. Would take longer to relog vs. just pulling second phone out of my pocket and getting the QR code from it to use, but that's certainly another option..
