Yes, it will. Virtually all the consumer level SSD will slow down significantly. It all depends on the implementation.

Facts...I use a WD SN750SE in my PS5 and it has lower specs than this drive. PS5 will alert you it's not as fast as they want it to be, but it'll play. I've also verified the Atom50 works too which...

you're regurgitating a completely bogus answer. this is NOT within the recommended speeds nor would PS5 support it especially since it checks for Gen4 over actual throughput.

This price is good - ish. It's good but memory prices are dropping fast so this becomes lesser of a deal as time goes on. This is a really good drive for the money but you aren't really missing...
