The delivery fee should cover extracurricular expenses for the driver from how I see it. If Sam's Club does not pay enough, it is not the customer's fault.

I'm 10 mi away and it says I'm in the delivery zone. 1.5 gallons of gas away is going to be outside the delivery zone unless your car gets only like 8 mpg.
