I wonder if that's correct. I kinda can't imagine Google doing that. TMOBILE had those Asus hotspot routers with firmware limiting their capabilities, but Google WiFi? I just don't see it.

Note - this is a LOCKED router. Tmobile rep told me that if I canceled my tmobile internet plan that it wouldn't work on any other internet device.
