DCB207 is worst battery that you can use with so power hungry tool as rotary hummer. You need at least 4Ah batteries and bigger is better.

This thing will drill 5/32 holes in concrete with ease. Much quicker than a hammer drill. If you have a lot of holes to drill, or wider diameter, definitely grab it. The difference is night and day....

A rotary hammer is the tool to drill through concrete or brick effectively. A hammer drill can do it, but the rotary hammer is the right tool.
