it will give it more power as well. you can use the 4ah batter fine for trim and such but they will drag on 2x4 and up if youre not going slow. I throw my aftermarket 9ah on it and Im usually good to...

I have the non sliding and LOVE IT. So much lighter and easier to use for most basic jobs. I would advise to get your hands on the 9vah battery. You can find them aftermarket on amazon pretty cheap....

Great for places with no power close by. Also, if worried about battery life, can get more batteries. But the 10" will cut bigger things, thats for sure.
