Coming from a semiconductor engineer, SATA SSDs can be manufactured on older, far cheaper process nodes than a space constrained NVMe drive. This was super evident with 120GB SATA SSDs as they would...

You're not going to find much standard on laptops in general - they are incredibly varied both within a manufacturers product line as well as across brands/manufacturers. I've got a 2 year old Dell...

I just like how brave Newegg is calling this is a deal thinking 16GB SD card is worth anything when 128gb sd can be had for less than $8 and the sata 1tb ssd less than $50 is the everyday price.

SATA SSDs may be older tech, but that doesn't make them useless. My PC has 2 m.2 slots (1 PCIe gen 4, 1 gen 3), and they're both already filled for a total of 3tb. My build has six 2.5" bays that I...

I'll agree about Team Group not being a great brand but the rest is pretty ridiculous. SSDs may have been around since 1991 but those have nearly nothing in common with modern ones. Those didn't even...

Well soon I will have to move from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 to Windows 11. I expect problems. This could make a cheap backup of my regular backup drive so I can undo.
